The QuoteWerks API tool gives Neo agents access to the QuoteWerks Web database. The common uses are a question like “where is my quote?”, and a customer’s request for new equipment that the agent turns into a quote.
Automatically enabled when you configure QuoteWerks permissions in your agent workflow.

What It Does

  • Find a customer’s open quotes and read each quote’s status, lines and total
  • Create a quote: the quote first, then one line per product. QuoteWerks calculates the extended prices, tax and totals
  • Update a quote or a line, and delete one when the request asks for exactly that
  • Look up products, contacts and the other tables of your QuoteWerks database
  • Run a saved Management Report as CSV and summarise it
When the agent creates a quote, it tells you the new quote’s number. It reports a quote as sent to QuoteValet only when QuoteWerks shows that it was. QuoteWerks’ REST documentation does not confirm a few column names, such as the part number column on a quote line. Before the agent relies on one of them, it reads the table’s schema from your account and uses the name it finds there.

Permission Groups

Neo does not read or write QuoteWerks’ cloud system settings, or any table whose name contains “settings”, because they can hold the passwords of your account’s mail server and integrations.
