The common use is a report: a scheduled agent, or a chat with Neo, lists each client’s failed or stale backups with the cause, compares seats used with seats bought and with the client’s agreement in your PSA, and counts active and deactivated accounts. On a backup failure ticket, the agent reads the failing mailbox, site or Team and notes its status, last backup and error.
Automatically enabled when you configure NinjaOne SaaS Backup permissions in your agent workflow.

What It Does

  • Read every organization with its seats used and bought, active and deactivated seats, shared mailboxes, storage and plan
  • Read each mailbox’s backup status, last backup, error, size and message count, and its calendar, contact and task backups
  • Read OneDrive, SharePoint site, Teams and Groups, Google Drive and shared drive backups with their status and errors
  • Read deactivated, deleted and invited accounts, each Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant, and which of its mailboxes are backed up
  • Read retention policies and the people who sign in to each organization’s portal
Neo only reads NinjaOne SaaS Backup.

Safety Controls

  • On a ticket, the agent reaches only the organization mapped to the ticket’s company, and not the list of every organization.
  • Every token in an answer reads [hidden by Neo].
  • Neo never sends the three calls that create a single sign-on link into a portal.
