1. Ask Dicker Data for API access
Dicker Data issues API access on request. Email integration.support@dickerdata.com.au with your company name, your Dicker Data account number and a technical contact, and ask for B2B API access, including the Microsoft subscription API. Dicker Data sends an Account Code and an Access Token. The access token is not your portal password.2. Add the credentials in Neo
1
Open Integrations
In the Neo Dashboard, open Integrations and find the Dicker Data card, under Cloud Marketplace.
2
Save the credentials
Enter the Account Code and Access Token, pick your Region (Australia or New Zealand), and click Save settings. Neo signs in to Dicker Data with them before it saves, so wrong values are rejected straight away, with the reason Dicker Data gives.
3. Set each company’s Microsoft tenant ID
Dicker Data names each customer by its Microsoft tenant ID. On the Companies page, make sure each company you buy for through Dicker Data has its Microsoft Tenant ID set. Companies connected through Microsoft 365 in Neo usually have it already. When you also saved Microsoft Partner Center credentials in Neo, seat changes go to Partner Center. Agents still read and buy Dicker Data subscriptions through the Dicker Data API.4. Turn on seat changes and audits
Add Change License Seats and List License Subscriptions to your onboarding and offboarding agents. In Change License Seats, turn on Require technician approval if a technician should confirm each seat change. Ask your Neo Support Agent to set this up: for example, “When someone joins, add a seat on Dicker Data and assign the licence; when someone leaves, take the seat off at the renewal.” For a monthly licence audit of every customer, ask it for a scheduled agent that compares each customer’s Dicker Data subscriptions with the seats in use.5. Turn the Dicker Data API on per agent
For everything beyond seat counts, open the agent, go to its Tools & Settings tab, click Cloud Marketplace, and expand the Dicker Data block. Pick one of its Presets, or set each area yourself:
See Dicker Data API for what the agent can read and change.
