You connect Petra Security once at the MSP level. One API key from your Petra organization covers every client tenant in it.

1. Create the API key

Only a Petra Admin can create an API key.
1

Open API Keys

Sign in to Petra, open Settings, and click the API Keys tab.
2

Create the key

Click Create API Key, enter a description such as Neo, and click Create API Key in the dialog.
3

Copy the key

Copy the key. Petra shows it only once.
When the key is deleted in Petra, Neo loses access until you save a new key here.

2. Add the key in Neo

1

Open Integrations

In the Neo Dashboard, open Integrations and find the Petra Security card, under Security.
2

Save the key

Paste the API key and click Save settings. Neo checks it against Petra before saving, so a wrong or deleted key is rejected straight away.

3. Turn Petra Security on per agent

Open the agent, go to the Integrations section, and pick the Read Only profile for the Petra Security block, or set each area yourself: Petra allows 10 calls a minute to each kind of read, and Neo keeps to it. See Petra Security API for what the agent can read.
