Datto Networking (the former Open Mesh CloudTrax) runs the access points, switches and power strips at your clients’ sites, managed in the Datto Networking Portal. Each client site is a network. Connect Datto Networking to Neo and your agents check whether a device is down and when it last checked in, read its model, MAC address, serial and subscription, and reboot a device or reset a switch port from the ticket.
Datto Networking uses one API key and secret per MSP. Connect it once and every agent you enable can use it, with permissions you control per agent.

What Neo can do with Datto Networking

Networks & Devices

Read every access point, switch and power strip of a site: online or down, last check-in, uptime, model, MAC address, serial, firmware, subscription status and end date, and end-of-life dates. Read traffic history and site survey results.

Device Actions

Reboot an access point, switch or power strip, reset a switch port to power-cycle the phone or camera on it, or upgrade firmware now.

Device Inventory

Add a replacement access point to the client’s network by its MAC address, or remove a device the client returned.

Network Settings

Change a guest WiFi name or schedule, the captive portal, or a switch port’s VLAN, SNMP traps and ACLs.

WiFi Clients & Vouchers

See which devices use the WiFi and how much, block or name one, and create guest access vouchers.

Networks, Users & Account

Create a new client site’s network and file it under the client’s network group, and give a technician portal access or remove a leaver.

Your clients are mapped automatically

Neo matches each Datto Networking network to a company in your PSA and keeps the mapping on the Datto Networking card’s Organization Mapping tab. It refreshes the mapping when you save the key, and again on each nightly PSA sync. A client with several sites has one network per site, so several networks map to one company. Matching uses the network’s name: exact, then after stripping a legal-form suffix (Ltd, Inc, LLC). Last comes an AI match for the rest. A name match, or one you confirm, is handed straight to your agents, so they start from the client’s networks without looking them up. An AI match is not handed to your agents automatically. It shows on the Organization Mapping tab, where you can confirm or correct it. Anything Neo could not match stays unmapped and visible on the same tab, where you can set the right company by hand. A mapping you set by hand survives every later sync. On a ticket, an agent reaches only the networks mapped to the ticket’s company.
