The common use is a daily report of open supply alerts: the agent lists each customer’s toner, drum and maintenance kit alerts with the device, the level, the forecast and the suggested part number, and opens or updates a ticket for each. On a printer ticket, the agent reads the device’s supply levels, panel messages and open alerts.
Automatically enabled when you configure MPS Monitor permissions in your agent workflow.

What It Does

  • List open supply alerts by customer, device, supply type and date, with each alert’s level, forecast and suggested part number
  • Hide or postpone an alert, and record the supply shipped against it
  • Read devices with their supply levels, counters, meter reads, panel messages and history
  • Read customers, their offices, projects and settings, and the dealer’s data collectors and their status
  • Read and change alert limits and the email notifications to the dealer and its customers
  • Manage HP SDS and Zebra devices: reboot, update firmware, send a panel message
  • Read the supply catalog and pricing, contracts and invoices, users and roles, and the dealer’s settings

Permission Groups

Neo always asks a technician before it deletes a customer or a device, removes a data collector or a device from HP SDS, deactivates a customer’s HP SDS, or removes a user’s second factor, whatever the group’s approval setting. Neo hides every password and credential in MPS Monitor’s answers and never sends one; a technician enters them in the MPS Monitor portal. On a ticket, the agent works only on the MPS Monitor customer mapped to the ticket’s company.
