The common uses are a scheduled audit of the account’s domains (every domain’s nameservers and renewals, and the DNS records, websites and certificates of up to 25 domains a run) and a ticket that asks for a DNS change, such as a verification TXT record or an SPF fix.
Automatically enabled when you configure GoDaddy permissions in your agent workflow.

What It Does

  • Read each domain’s nameservers, status, expiry, auto-renew, privacy and transfer lock, and change auto-renew, contacts and WHOIS settings
  • Read, add, change and remove DNS records and domain forwarding
  • Move a domain to other nameservers
  • Check availability and price, register and renew domains
  • Follow and manage transfers, and set each domain’s transfer lock
  • Read SSL certificates and their expiry, and order, renew, reissue, revoke or cancel them
  • Read applications on GoDaddy Hosting with their status, deployments and logs, and create, deploy, restart and update them
  • Read mailboxes on your domains and create new ones
  • Read the account and its API usage, and report abuse

Permission Groups

Neo always asks a technician before it cancels a domain, accepts a transfer away, turns a transfer lock off, moves a domain to another sub-account, deletes a Hosting application or deletes a shopper account, whatever the group’s approval setting. It never replaces a domain’s whole DNS zone in one call, never sets an account password or a Hosting application’s secrets, never sends a transfer code (a technician starts a transfer into GoDaddy in its console), and hides each domain’s transfer code. On a ticket, the agent works only on the domains mapped to the ticket’s company.
