What Neo can do with SkySwitch
- Onboard a new hire: add their user and extension, a device and desk phone, a phone number routed to them with its emergency (E911) address, and their call queues
- Offboard a leaver: take them out of their queues, remove their devices and user, and keep, reroute or release their phone number as you choose
- Report each client’s users against their seat limit, users with no phone in use, and phone numbers that ring no one
- Read a user’s devices, call records and forwarding on a phone ticket, and change answer rules, queues and numbers with the approvals your access profile sets
Onboarding and offboarding
Add SkySwitch to the agent that already handles your onboarding and offboarding tickets, and say in its instructions how you number extensions, which phone model you use, and what happens to a leaver’s number. Neo follows those rules first. Where they say nothing and the ticket does not say, Neo asks the technician, and it never guesses an extension, a phone’s MAC address or an emergency address. Neo creates a new user without a password or voicemail PIN, and the user sets both from SkySwitch’s welcome email. A change that sets a password, a PIN or a SIP key always asks a technician. Each ticket stays with its client
Your SkySwitch sign-ins reach every client domain under your reseller account. On a ticket that names a company, Neo sends a call only for the domain that company is mapped to: a PBX call must name that domain, a Telco list must be filtered by it, and a call on one phone number goes out only for a number the domain holds, or a new number from the catalog that Neo then routes into the domain. Reports across every client are for dashboards, chats and scheduled agents.Your domains are mapped to companies
Neo matches your SkySwitch domains to the companies in your PSA and keeps the mapping on the SkySwitch card’s Organization Mapping tab, refreshed on each PSA metadata sync. Matching uses the domain’s description, which your Manager portal shows as the client’s name: exact, then after stripping a legal-form suffix (Ltd, Inc, LLC). Last comes an AI match for the long tail. A description that matches exactly one of your PSA companies, as it is or after stripping a legal-form suffix, or a match you confirm, is handed straight to your agents. An AI match waits for you on the Organization Mapping tab, and so does a name two of your PSA companies share, or two domains that match one company. Confirm or correct each there. Anything Neo could not match stays unmapped and visible on the same tab, where you can set the right company by hand. A mapping you set by hand survives every later sync. See SkySwitch API for the permission groups.Next steps
