MPS Monitor is a managed print services platform. A data collector at each of your customers reads every printer and copier, and MPS Monitor raises a supply alert when a toner, drum or maintenance kit runs low, with a forecast of when it runs out. Connect it, and Neo agents can report the open supply alerts each day, check a printer from its ticket, and record the supply you shipped.

What Neo can do with MPS Monitor

  • Supply alerts: list the open toner, drum and maintenance kit alerts by customer, with the device, its level, the forecast and the suggested part number
  • Shipments: record the supply shipped against an alert, and hide or postpone an alert that needs nothing
  • Devices: read a printer’s supply levels, counters, meter reads and panel messages
  • Customers and data collectors: read customers, offices and projects, and which data collectors stopped sending data
  • Alert settings: read and change alert limits and the email notifications
  • Device management: reboot HP SDS and Zebra devices, update firmware and send a panel message
See MPS Monitor API for the permission groups.

Your customers are mapped to your PSA companies

Neo matches your MPS Monitor customers to the companies in your PSA and keeps the mapping on the MPS Monitor card’s Organization Mapping tab, refreshed on each PSA metadata sync. Matching uses the customer name: exact, then after stripping a legal-form suffix (Ltd, Inc, LLC). Last comes an AI match for the long tail. A name match, or one you confirm, is handed straight to your agents. An AI match is not handed to your agents automatically. It shows on the Organization Mapping tab, where you can confirm or correct it. Anything Neo could not match stays unmapped and visible on the same tab, where you can set the right company by hand. A mapping you set by hand survives every later sync. On a ticket, an agent works in MPS Monitor only on the customer mapped to the ticket’s company. A company with no mapping that agents can use gets no MPS Monitor calls until you set or confirm one on the tab. Agents with no ticket, such as a scheduled supply alert report or a chat, reach every customer. A customer that holds its own MPS Monitor account can get its own sign-in on the card (Add a customer’s own key). That sign-in reaches only the MPS Monitor customer mapped to that customer, so map the customer on the tab first.
