1. Create an API key in Jotform
1
Open the API settings
Sign in to Jotform with the account that owns the forms, open Settings, and click API.
2
Create the key
Click Create New Key and name it “Neo”. Under Permissions, choose:
Choose Full Access if an agent should mark submissions read once it handles them.
3
Copy the key
Copy the key. Neo acts as the account that made it, so it reads every form that account owns.
2. Add Jotform in Neo
1
Open Integrations
Open Integrations → Jotform in the Neo Dashboard. The card is under Other.
2
Save the connection
Pick the Region you sign in to: www.jotform.com, eu.jotform.com for an EU account, or hipaa.jotform.com for a HIPAA account. Paste the API Key and click Save. Neo checks the key with Jotform before it saves, so a wrong key or region is rejected straight away.
3. Start an agent from each submission
1
Send the form's email to your PSA
In the Jotform form builder, open Settings → Emails, and add or edit a Notification Email. Set its recipient to the address your PSA turns into tickets, such as your Autotask, ConnectWise or Halo support mailbox.
2
Put the submission id in the email
In the email’s content, add the Submission ID field. The agent then reads the exact submission behind the ticket. Without it, the agent finds the submission by the form’s name and the answers in the email, and asks a technician when two submissions match.
3
Set up the agent
Create or open an agent that is triggered on new tickets, such as your onboarding or offboarding agent, and filter it to the tickets these emails open. Turn on Jotform in its Integrations section (step 4), and say in its instructions what to do for each form, for example “For the New Starter form, create the Microsoft 365 user from the answers”.
