What Neo can do with FortiMail
Why was this email quarantined?
Find a missing message in the system quarantine, read why FortiMail held it, and release it when it is safe, to the original recipients or to someone else.
Review a client's mail setup
Read a protected domain’s settings, its recipient and IP policies, access control rules, and the antispam, antivirus, content and session profiles they apply.
Safelists and blocklists
Check whether a sender is safelisted or blocked at the system, domain or user level, and add or remove an entry the ticket asks for.
Security incidents
Correlate the logs, rules and profiles behind an incident, explain the likely cause, and recommend the change that fixes it.
Gateway health
Read system status, licenses, HA and disk status, mail statistics, and network and FortiGuard settings when mail stops flowing.
Your clients in FortiMail
Each client is one or more protected domains on your FortiMail. Neo reads your protected domains and suggests the client each belongs to, from the website on the client’s company in your PSA. Confirm or correct the links on the Organization Mapping tab of the FortiMail integration. On a ticket, an agent reads and changes only the protected domains you linked to the ticket’s client, and never lists the others; your system-level policies, lists, quarantine and logs stay available to it.What Neo never does
- Read or hand out a FortiMail session.
- Upload a file, so it never restores firmware, a configuration or a list from a file, and never restores mail data from a backup.
- Read or change SNMP communities, whose names are their passwords.
- Shut the appliance down. A restart or reload is allowed with the access you choose.
