D&H’s XML integration gives Neo your D&H price and the stock in each D&H branch, a product’s detail by D&H or manufacturer part number, and your orders. Connect it once with a D&H login that has XML access, and Neo agents can quote the PCs a ticket needs and tell you where an order is. This is a separate connection from the D&H Cloud Marketplace, which covers cloud subscriptions and seats.

What Neo can do with D&H Hardware

  • Read your price and the stock in each D&H branch for up to 25 parts at once (up to 50 for price alone or stock alone)
  • Find the D&H part for a manufacturer part number, with its description, estimated retail price, rebate and volume price
  • Quote PCs from a ticket: read the existing unit’s spec, find good, better and best models that are in stock at D&H, and put them on a Quoter quote (with ScalePad connected) or in an internal note
  • Answer “price and stock for this part?” or “where is PO 48213?” in chat, with tracking and serial numbers
  • Place an order once the quote is approved. Every access profile but Full Automation asks a technician first; the agent’s Orders permission decides
D&H’s XML integration has no search by keyword or spec. To find models that meet a spec, Neo uses Web Search and then looks each model up at D&H by its manufacturer part number, so give the agent the Web Search tool.

Set up a hardware quoting agent

  1. Connect D&H Hardware.
  2. Create a triggered agent for your hardware request tickets. Give it the Helpdesk profile in its D&H Hardware block, the Web Search tool, and, to quote in Quoter, ScalePad with the Quoter module.
  3. Tell it what to do, for example:
See D&H Hardware API for the permission groups.
