The common use is a utilization report: a scheduled agent reads each technician’s hours worked from Paycor’s time cards, reads the time they logged in your PSA for the same period, and reports the gap per technician.
Automatically enabled when you configure Paycor permissions in your agent workflow. Paycor holds your own staff, so the agent calls your Paycor on every run, whatever the ticket’s company.

What it does

  • List your legal entities, employees, their job title, manager, department, work location, status and employment dates
  • Read time cards, punches, hours, payroll hours, schedules, time off requests and accruals for a date range
  • Create time off requests, approve or unapprove time cards, and add hours or punches
  • Hire an employee, and change an employee’s contact details, position and status
  • Read and change personal details, pay rates, deductions, direct deposits, taxes and benefit plans, and the applicant tracking system
  • Run saved Report Builder reports and JSON file imports
Neo does not send the calls that answer with a file or take one (a pay stub PDF, a tax form, a report download, a file import): the agent uses the JSON call beside each one, and a person opens the file in Paycor. Neo replaces Social Security numbers, bank account and routing numbers, I-9 document, passport and admission numbers, and OAuth secrets and tokens in every Paycor answer, so the agent never reads one. A write that sends Neo’s placeholder back is refused. When the agent changes a direct deposit, an HSA account or the I-9 and leaves those numbers out, Neo keeps the numbers Paycor has.

The parts of a record

An agent can ask Paycor for more of a record in one read with include, such as an employee’s position and status, or a person’s email and phones. Each part it asks for needs that part’s permission group: a person’s demographic data, addresses, emergency contacts and Social Security number need Personal Details.

Permission groups

Access profiles

Read Only, Helpdesk and IT Admin keep Personal Details, Pay, Tax & Benefits, Recruiting and Reports & Imports off. Turn one on by hand for an agent that needs it.

Safety Controls

No Paycor write always asks a technician: each one follows its group’s approval setting and the agent’s access profile.
