The Merge Tickets tool allows Neo Agent to merge a ticket into another, consolidating duplicates or related issues.

What It Does

When enabled, the agent can:
  • Identify the target ticket to merge into
  • Execute the merge operation in your PSA
  • Preserve relevant information from both tickets
Enable Find Tickets by Content or Find Tickets by Metadata tools to help the agent find tickets to merge with.

How to Use

  1. Enable this tool along with ticket search tools
  2. Provide custom instructions on when to merge tickets
  3. The agent will search for related tickets and merge when appropriate

Example Instructions

Merge tickets when they're from the same contact about the same issue within 24 hours.
Always merge into the older ticket.
