You connect Zomentum once at the MSP level, with an API User.

Before you start

  • Zomentum’s API is on its Growth plan.
  • Neo acts as the API User, with the permission level and default owner you give it. Every document, task and change Neo makes shows that user.

1. Create the API User in Zomentum

In Zomentum, open Settings → Users → Add User. Set the permission level to API User, and use Default owner to choose who owns the records Neo creates.

2. Generate the token

Open the API User and click Generate token. Zomentum shows an access token and a refresh token. Copy the Refresh Token.

3. Save it in Neo

1

Open Integrations

In the Neo Dashboard, open Integrations and find the Zomentum card, under Sales & Quoting.
2

Save the refresh token

Paste the refresh token into Refresh Token and click Save settings. Neo uses it to get an access token before saving, so a wrong token is rejected straight away.
Neo keeps the connection alive from then on. Each time Neo renews its access token, Zomentum ends the one before, so keep this API User for Neo alone: another program that uses the same token stops Neo’s connection, and Neo’s stops the other’s. If you delete the API User, or generate a new token for it, Neo stops reaching Zomentum and sends you a message in the dashboard. Generate a token (step 2) and save the new refresh token.

4. Turn Zomentum on per agent

Open the agent, go to the Integrations section, and pick an access profile for the Zomentum block, or set each area yourself: See Zomentum API for the profiles and what the agent can read and change.
