RingCentral (RingEX) is a cloud phone system. Connect RingCentral, and Neo agents can answer questions about it and make the changes your tickets ask for, such as a new hire’s extension or a forwarding change.

What Neo can do with RingCentral

  • Read the account, every extension and its status (enabled, disabled, not activated), and who is on a call or set to Do Not Disturb
  • Read call logs and missed calls for a user or the whole account, and call queue statistics: calls, abandoned and missed calls, service level and handle time
  • Read the phone number inventory (who each number belongs to, which are free) and each user’s desk phones and softphones
  • Add a user with a welcome email, give them a free number, disable a user, or remove them and keep their number and phone in inventory
  • Change call handling: forward a user’s calls, forward all calls while they are away, Do Not Disturb, work hours and business hours, on both RingCentral call handling versions
  • Add or remove call queue agents, and set whether an agent takes queue calls
  • Read who left voicemails and sent texts, send texts, post in RingCentral team messaging, and read RingSense AI call summaries
Neo connects one RingCentral account, most often your own phone system. Neo does not download call recordings, voicemail audio or transcripts, or fax files, and does not upload greetings or send faxes. See RingCentral API for the permission groups.
