OnSIP is connected per client, with that client’s OnSIP admin user. An agent on a ticket calls the OnSIP account of the ticket’s company, with permissions you control per agent.
What Neo can do with OnSIP
Phones & Registrations
Read each phone’s make, model, MAC address and lines, and the SIP registrations of each user: which phone or app is signed in, from which address. Ring a phone to test it.
Users & Call Routing
Read users and their status, extensions, do not disturb, ring time, forwarding, ring groups, voicemail boxes, queues and attendant menus. Add, change and remove users, extensions, aliases, forwarding and ring groups; add and remove voicemail boxes.
Phone Numbers
Read every number and where it rings; point a number at another user or group.
Call History & Account
Read call and session records with how each call ended, queue reports, the account’s status, prepaid balance and invoices.
Use cases
- A phone does not ring or register. The agent finds the user, checks that OnSIP has them enabled and that do not disturb or forwarding is off, reads whether any phone or app is registered for them and from which address, and gives the technician the phone’s model and MAC address.
- Callers cannot get through. The agent reads where the number rings, the ring group’s members and the calls that failed this month, with the answer each got.
- Outbound calls fail for everyone. The agent reads the account’s status and prepaid balance.
