# Connecting Trend Micro LMP to Neo

> Get your LMPI access token and secret key and save them in Neo

You connect Trend Micro LMP once at the MSP level. One LMPI key from TrendAI covers every customer in your partner account.

## 1. Get the LMPI key

**1. Ask TrendAI for the key**

TrendAI issues the Licensing Management Platform Interface (LMPI) key to its partners: an **access token** (a GUID) and a **secret key**. Ask your TrendAI partner contact or support for the LMPI key for your partner account.

> [!WARNING]
>
> When TrendAI revokes or replaces the key, Neo loses access until you save the new key here.

## 2. Add the key in Neo

**1. Open Integrations**

In the Neo Dashboard, open **Integrations** and find the Trend Micro LMP card, under Endpoint Security.

**2. Save the key**

Paste the access token and the secret key and click **Save settings**. Neo checks them against LMP before saving, so a wrong token, or a secret key that does not belong to it, is rejected straight away.

**3. Check the mapping**

Open the card's **Organization Mapping** tab and confirm each customer, or set it by hand. On a ticket, Neo works only with the LMP customer mapped to the ticket's company.

## 3. Turn Trend Micro LMP on per agent

Open the agent, go to its **Tools & Settings** tab, click **Endpoint Security**, and expand the **Trend Micro LMP** block. Pick a preset, or set each area yourself:

| Preset | What runs |
| - | - |
| **Read Only** | Reads customers, subscriptions, seats, service plans, reports and usage |
| **Helpdesk** | Reads everything but downstream partners; a technician approves each customer, portal user and subscription change. No suspending or cancelling, no new service plans, and Downstream Partners stays off |
| **IT Admin** | Creates customers and subscriptions and changes seats on its own; a technician approves portal user changes, suspending or cancelling, and downstream partner changes |
| **Full Automation** | Everything without approval, except cancelling a subscription, which always asks |

| Area | Access levels you can pick | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| **Customers** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | Read / Write creates customers and updates their company profile. |
| **Customer Portal Users** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | Read / Write updates a portal user's name, email, phone, time zone or language. The email decides where a password reset goes. |
| **Subscriptions and Seats** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | Read / Write subscribes a customer, changes seats, the expiry date or the plan, and resumes a suspended subscription. |
| **Suspend and Cancel** | Disabled, Read / Write | Suspending and cancelling subscriptions. Cancelling always asks a technician. |
| **Service Plans and Products** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | Read / Write creates a service plan. |
| **Reports and Usage** | Disabled, Read Only | Customer, billing and usage reports. |
| **Downstream Partners** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | For a distributor or ISP account. |
