# Connecting Smart Pricing Table to Neo

> Create a Smart Pricing Table API key and save it in Neo

You connect Smart Pricing Table once at the MSP level, with an API key.

## Before you start

* Smart Pricing Table includes API access on its **Business** plan.
* A key acts as the user who created it, with that user's role. Neo can do only what that user may do: a user who may not delete or send proposals gives Neo a key that cannot either. Every proposal Neo creates shows that user.

## 1. Create the API key in Smart Pricing Table

Sign in as the user Neo should act as, open **Settings** → **Profile**, and create an API key. Copy it.

## 2. Save it in Neo

**1. Open Integrations**

In the Neo Dashboard, open **Integrations** and find the Smart Pricing Table card, under Sales & Quoting.

**2. Save the key**

Paste the key into **API Key** and click **Save settings**. Neo lists one proposal with it before saving, so a wrong key is rejected straight away.

If you delete the key, or the user who made it leaves, Neo stops reaching Smart Pricing Table. Create a new key (step 1) and save it again.

## 3. Turn Smart Pricing Table on per agent

Open the agent, go to the Integrations section, and pick an access profile for the Smart Pricing Table block, or set each area yourself:

| Area | Access levels you can pick | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| **Proposals & Templates** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | Finding proposals and creating them from a template. |
| **Pricing & Content** | Disabled, Read Only, Read / Write | Pages, pricing groups, line items, add-ons and packages, and the library. Read Only keeps your prices as they are. |
| **Sending & Status** | Disabled, Read / Write | Emailing a proposal to the client, and changing a proposal's status. |

See [Smart Pricing Table API](https://docs.neoagent.io/agents/tools/sales/smart-pricing-table-api.md) for the profiles and what the agent can read and change.
