# Connecting myITprocess to Neo

> Create a myITprocess API key and save it in Neo

You connect myITprocess once at the MSP level. One API key covers your whole myITprocess account.

## 1. Create the API key

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the API keys page">
    Sign in to myITprocess as an administrator and open **Account settings**, then **API keys**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy a key">
    Create an API key and copy it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Do not delete the key in myITprocess after you connect it. Neo loses access until you save a new key here.
</Warning>

## 2. Add the key in Neo

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Integrations">
    In the Neo Dashboard, open **Integrations** and find the myITprocess card, under Customer Success.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the key">
    Paste the API key and click **Save**. Neo checks it against myITprocess before saving, so a wrong key is rejected straight away.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  myITprocess allows 50 API requests a minute for your account. Neo keeps its own calls under that, and leaves room for your other myITprocess integrations.
</Note>

## 3. Turn myITprocess on per agent

Open the agent, go to the Integrations section, and configure the myITprocess block. The **Read Only** profile turns on every area. To leave an area out, set it to Disabled:

| Area | Access levels you can pick | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| **Clients and Reviews** | Disabled, Read Only | Clients and alignment scores, reviews, the review questions and their answers, categories up for review, and your myITprocess users. |
| **Roadmap and Meetings** | Disabled, Read Only | Recommendations with budgets, initiatives and meetings. Turn it off on an agent that writes to your clients and must not see budget figures. |

See [myITprocess API](/agents/tools/sales/myitprocess-api) for what the agent can read.
