# Ingram Micro Hardware

> Look up Ingram Micro products, read live price and stock, and quote and order hardware from a ticket

Ingram Micro's reseller API (Xvantage Integration) gives Neo your Ingram catalogue, your price and the stock in each warehouse, your quotes, orders and invoices. Connect it once with the keys of an app in Ingram's developer portal, and Neo agents can quote the hardware a ticket needs and tell you where an order is.

This is a separate connection from the [Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace](https://docs.neoagent.io/integrations/marketplaces/ingram-micro.md), which covers cloud subscriptions and seats.

## What Neo can do with Ingram Micro Hardware

* Find a product by description, vendor part number or Ingram SKU, with your price and the stock in each warehouse
* Quote the PC or parts a ticket asks for: find the model, check price and stock, create the Ingram quote, and put it on the ticket as an internal note
* Answer "price and stock for this part?" or "where is PO 48213?" in chat, with tracking and serial numbers
* Place an order once the quote is approved, with a technician's approval first
* Read invoices, renewals, deals and returns

## Set up a hardware quoting agent

1. [Connect Ingram Micro Hardware](https://docs.neoagent.io/integrations/ingram-micro-reseller/connecting-to-neo.md).
2. Create a triggered agent for your procurement or quote tickets, and give it the **Helpdesk** profile in its Ingram Micro Hardware block.
3. Tell it what to do, for example:

```
When a ticket asks for new hardware, find the model in Ingram Micro, check price and stock,
create an Ingram quote named after the ticket number, and add an internal note with the quote
number, each line with its price and stock, and the total.
```

See [Ingram Micro Hardware API](https://docs.neoagent.io/agents/tools/sales/ingram-micro-reseller-api.md) for the permission groups.
