# Fathom

> Turn the action items from your recorded meetings into tickets, and put client meeting summaries on the client's account in your PSA

Fathom records your Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls, and writes a summary, action items with an assignee, highlights and a transcript for each one. Connect Fathom once with an API key, and Neo agents can read your meetings and act on them in your PSA.

## What Neo can do with Fathom

* Open a ticket for each action item from a meeting, owned by the person it was assigned to, with a due date
* Add a client meeting's or QBR's summary to the client's account in your PSA
* Add each client's meetings of the month to a monthly client report
* Collect the decisions and action items of your own internal meetings, such as a leadership meeting
* Find problems a client raises in more than one meeting
* Answer a technician's question about a meeting, in Teams or the dashboard

Neo matches a meeting to a client by the email domains of the people invited to it.

## Set up an agent

Most Fathom jobs run on a schedule, such as every hour for action items or on the first of the month for a report:

1. [Connect Fathom](https://docs.neoagent.io/integrations/fathom/connecting-to-neo.md).
2. Ask Neo Support to set up the agent, for example:

```
Set up a scheduled agent that runs every hour, reads the Fathom meetings recorded since the last run, and opens an Autotask ticket on the client's company for each open action item, assigned to the action item's owner, due in five business days unless the item names a date.
```

The agent gets the **Read Only** profile in its Fathom block, and the PSA permissions its job needs, such as creating tickets. Each ticket carries a line that names the meeting and the action item, so a later run never opens the same ticket twice.

See [Fathom API](https://docs.neoagent.io/agents/tools/sales/fathom-api.md) for the permission groups.
