# Dayforce

> Start onboarding from each new hire in your clients' Dayforce, with the HR record as the source of truth

Dayforce is the HR, payroll and workforce management system many of your clients keep their employees in. Each client that uses it has its own Dayforce company. Connect Dayforce for those clients, and Neo agents read who is starting, who is leaving, and each employee's job, department, location and manager from it.

## What Neo can do with Dayforce

* Find the employees whose hire date falls in the coming weeks, and start onboarding for each one
* Read an employee's name, job title, department, location, manager, start date and contacts, so the accounts Neo creates match the HR record
* Write the new work email and Dayforce sign-in back to the employee's Dayforce record
* Find employees whose employment ends, and start offboarding

With the matching permission groups on, agents can also work with personal details, pay and tax, time and scheduling, talent, the organization, and reports. See [Dayforce API](/agents/tools/management/dayforce-api) for the permission groups and profiles.

## One connection per client

Each client's Dayforce company has its own web address, company ID and web services user, so you connect Dayforce once for each client that uses it, and the connection belongs to that client's company in Neo. An agent working for that company uses that company's Dayforce.
