# Connecting D&H Hardware to Neo

> Get XML access from D&H and save its login in Neo

You connect D\&H Hardware once at the MSP level, with the XML login of your D\&H account.

## 1. Get XML access from D\&H

D\&H's XML integration signs in with a D\&H user code and password that have XML access. D\&H usually issues XML credentials on request: email [passwords@dandh.com](mailto:passwords@dandh.com) (US: 1-800-877-1200, Canada: 905-796-0030) with your company name and D\&H user ID, and ask for XML Pricing & Availability access.

If your account ships orders straight to your clients (drop ship) and D\&H gave it a drop-ship password, have that ready too.

## 2. Add the login in Neo

**1. Open Integrations**

In the Neo Dashboard, open **Integrations** and find the **D\&H Hardware** card, under Sales & Quoting.

**2. Fill in the fields**

* **Region**: United States (DandH.com) or Canada (DandH.ca), where your account is.
* **XML User Code** and **XML Password**: the XML login from D\&H.
* **Drop-Ship Password** (optional): only if D\&H gave your account one. Neo adds it to an order shipped to your client's address.

**3. Save**

Click **Save settings**. Neo reads the price of one part with the login before it saves, so a login D\&H does not accept for XML is rejected straight away, with D\&H's message.

Neo sends each call to `https://www.dandh.com/dhXML/xmlDispatch` (or `https://www.dandh.ca/dhXML/xmlDispatch` for Canada), with your XML login in the document.

## 3. Turn D\&H Hardware on per agent

Open the agent, go to the Integrations section, and pick an access profile for the D\&H Hardware block, or set each area yourself.

| Area | Notes |
| - | - |
| **Products, Price & Stock** | Your price, the stock per branch, and a product's detail by D\&H or manufacturer part number. Read only. |
| **Orders** | Read an order's status, tracking and serial numbers; place an order. An order spends money on your D\&H account, so every profile but Full Automation asks a technician first. |
