# Connecting Crewhu to Neo

> Make a Crewhu API token and save it in Neo

You connect Crewhu once at the MSP level, with one API token for your Crewhu account.

## 1. Make the API token

In Crewhu, open **Settings** → **General** → **Integrations**, turn on **Open API**, and add an Open API access token named Neo. Copy the token. Keep it out of email and chat: anyone who has it can read your survey results.

Neo calls Crewhu at `https://api.crewhu.com` with the token in the `X_CREWHU_APITOKEN` header.

To let Neo send contest results, an admin also turns on contest updates via API under **Settings** → **Contests**.

## 2. Add the token in Neo

**1. Open Integrations**

In the Neo Dashboard, open **Integrations** and find the Crewhu card, under Customer Success.

**2. Save the token**

Paste the API token and click **Save settings**. Neo checks it against Crewhu before saving, so a wrong or inactive token is rejected straight away.

## 3. Turn Crewhu on per agent

Open the agent, go to the Integrations section, and pick an access profile for the Crewhu block, or set each area yourself:

| Area | Access levels you can pick | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| **CSAT Surveys** | Disabled, Read Only | Ratings, comments and tickets. Holds each customer contact's name, email, phone and IP address as Crewhu stores them. |
| **Employees** | Disabled, Read Only | Names for the technicians on surveys, badges and prizes. |
| **Badges & Prizes** | Disabled, Read Only | Recognition and prize redemptions. |
| **Contest Results** | Disabled, Read / Write | Sends contest scores; needs contest updates via API turned on in Crewhu. |
