It scans every inbound email, its links and its files, gives each a verdict, and quarantines what your settings say to. It is a separate product from Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, with its own console and its own API, so it has its own card in Neo. The same API serves Perception Point customers who buy from Perception Point or Fortinet directly. ## What Neo can do with Acronis Email Security * Find a user's email by recipient, sender, subject, Message-ID, link or file, and add its verdict and evidence to the ticket * Release a quarantined email to the user's inbox once the user confirms they expect it * Look up a link or email a user reports as phishing and check its verdict * Ask the Acronis Email Security IR team to investigate a scan, or to reclassify it as malicious, spam or clean * Send a link, or a file by its download link, to be scanned, and change a scan's verdict * Add a sender address or domain, an IP or a URL to a client's blocklist or allowlist * Read admin users and the audit log, invite or remove an admin user, and add a client organization A link that no scanned email carried has no scan yet. The agent sends it to be scanned and reads the verdict when the scan finishes. ## How Neo finds the right client One API key from your parent organization reaches every client organization beneath it. The API has no list of organizations, so there is no Organization Mapping tab. The agent finds a client's email by the user's address, which only that client receives, and writes allowlist and blocklist entries to the organization of that client's scans.
