# Trend Micro LMP API

> Use Trend Micro LMP from Neo: customers, subscriptions with their seats and dates, provisioning, suspending and usage reports

The common uses are onboarding, where the agent creates a new client in LMP and subscribes it to a service plan, a ticket that asks to change a client's seats or suspend a service, and a licence review, where it lists each client's subscriptions against the usage reports.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Automatically enabled when you configure Trend Micro LMP permissions in your agent workflow.

## What It Does

* List customers, service plans and the products you may sell
* Read a customer's subscriptions: plan, seats, activation codes, auto-renewal, start and expiry dates
* Create a customer, and subscribe it to a service plan or to TrendAI Vision One
* Change a subscription's seats, bring its expiry date forward, or move it to another plan
* Suspend, resume or cancel a subscription
* Read customer summary, transaction, billing and usage reports
* For a distributor or ISP account: onboard downstream partners, assign them products, and register Remote Manager

## Permission Groups

| Group | Covers |
| - | - |
| Customers | Your customer companies, creating them and updating their company profile |
| Customer Portal Users | The users who sign in to a customer's Customer Licensing Portal, and updating their contact details |
| Subscriptions and Seats | Each customer's subscriptions, creating them, changing seats, dates and plan, and resuming a suspended one |
| Suspend and Cancel | Suspending and cancelling subscriptions (write only) |
| Service Plans and Products | Your service plans and products, and creating a service plan |
| Reports and Usage | Customer, billing and usage reports (read only) |
| Downstream Partners | Downstream partner onboarding, product assignment and Remote Manager, for a distributor or ISP account |

## Access Profiles

| Profile | What runs |
| - | - |
| **Read Only** | Every read |
| **Helpdesk** | Every read but downstream partners; customer, portal user and subscription changes after a technician approves them; no suspending or cancelling, and Downstream Partners stays off |
| **IT Admin** | Every read, and customer, subscription, seat and plan changes on its own; portal user changes, suspending or cancelling, and downstream partner changes after approval |
| **Full Automation** | Every read and change without approval, except cancelling |

## Safety Controls

| Control | Behavior |
| - | - |
| **The ticket's customer only** | On a run for a ticket that names a company, Neo sends a call only about the LMP customer the ticket's company is mapped to, a new customer, or your service plan and product lists. Calls about every customer (the customer and subscription lists, the reports, downstream partners) go out only on a run with no ticket company, such as a chat with Neo or a scheduled agent. A customer the agent creates for a company that maps to no LMP customer yet is used on that ticket only after a technician confirms the match on the approval card, which saves the mapping |
| **Cancelling always asks** | Cancelling a subscription ends the service at once, so it always needs a technician's approval |
| **Passwords and keys hidden** | A new account's password and its password reset link are hidden in every answer, and Neo does not send the two calls that return an LMPI key |
