# Zomentum API

> Draft quotes and proposals in Zomentum from your templates and catalog, check their margins, and work your opportunities, follow-ups and won proposals

The common use is a sales agent on Zomentum: it drafts a quote or a managed services proposal from your template and your product catalog for a rep to review and send, checks each quote's margins, finds proposals waiting on the customer and drafts the follow-up, reports your pipeline and expected MRR, and tells your team when a proposal is won.

## What It Does

* Read, create, update and delete clients, and read, create and update their contacts
* Read, create, update and delete opportunities, and read pipelines and their stages
* Read documents (quotes, proposals, contracts, assessments) with their status, totals and products, and the account's templates
* Create a document from a template, add a pricing table with priced line items, and order the document's blocks
* Read, create, update and delete products with their prices and costs, and read, create and update tax regions and categories
* Read, create, update and delete sales tasks, call logs, email logs and meetings
* Read the account's settings, users and custom fields, and its webhooks

A person sends each document from Zomentum, where your approval rules apply. Neo drafts.

## Safety Controls

| Control | Behavior |

| **A stored credential asks** | A write that sets a credential, or a webhook's headers, always asks a technician first, whatever the group's setting |
| **Hidden values** | Tokens, document signing links, webhook header values and the settings of the systems your account connected are hidden from the agent, and a write that sends one back is refused |
| **No block removed** | When the agent orders a document's blocks, every block it leaves out is kept after its list |
| **Only documented calls** | Neo sends only the calls in Zomentum's published API, and refuses any other write. It never calls the token refresh or the file download |
| **The API User's own role** | Neo acts as your Zomentum API User, so Zomentum refuses what that user's role may not do |
