# Plaud API

> Read the recordings in your Plaud Team workspace, with their AI summaries and transcripts, to log meetings as activities and notes in your PSA

The common use is a scheduled agent: every hour it reads the recordings made since its last run, logs each one as an activity for the team member who recorded it, and adds the summary as a note on the client's account in your PSA.

## What It Does

* List the recordings in your Plaud Team workspace, with when each was recorded, its length and who made it
* Read each recording's AI summaries
* Read a recording's transcript, when you turn on the Transcripts group
* List your workspace's members

Neo reads Plaud; it changes nothing there. Plaud's Enterprise API is read-only.

## Permission Groups

No Plaud read asks a technician for approval. The writes the agent makes from a recording, such as an activity or a company note, follow the agent's PSA permissions.

## Safety Controls

| Control | Behavior |

| **No audio** | Neo never fetches a recording's audio link |
| **Plaud's host only** | Neo sends its token only to the API host Plaud gave you, on `plaud.ai`, and follows no redirect |
| **Transcripts apart** | A transcript read needs the Transcripts group |
| **Consent first** | Neo reads a member's own recordings only after that member accepts Plaud's consent notice |
