# Fathom API

> Read your recorded meetings in Fathom: summaries, action items with their assignee, highlights and transcripts, to open tickets and add notes in your PSA

The common use is a scheduled agent: every hour it reads the meetings recorded since its last run, opens a ticket for each action item in your PSA, and adds each client meeting's summary to the client's account.

## What It Does

* Find meetings by client email domain, date, meeting type, recorder or Fathom team
* Read each meeting's summary, action items with their assignee, highlights, and the CRM records Fathom linked
* Read a meeting's transcript, when you turn on the Transcripts group
* List your Fathom teams, team members and users

Neo reads Fathom; it changes nothing there.

## Permission Groups

No Fathom read asks a technician for approval. The writes the agent makes from a meeting, such as a ticket or a company note, follow the agent's PSA permissions.

## Safety Controls

| Control | Behavior |

| **No forwarding** | Neo never asks Fathom to send a meeting's content to another address, and never creates or deletes a Fathom webhook |
| **No recording files** | Neo never downloads a meeting's video or audio file |
| **Transcripts apart** | A read that includes transcripts needs the Transcripts group as well as Meetings & Summaries |
