# D&H Hardware API

> Read live D&H price and stock, look up products by part number, and place and track hardware orders

The common uses are quoting PCs for a ticket ("quote a replacement for this laptop, good, better and best, in stock at D\&H"), a product lookup in chat ("price and stock for D\&H part 52T"), and order status ("where is PO 48213?").

## What It Does

* Read your price and the stock in each D\&H branch, for up to 25 parts in one call (up to 50 for price alone or stock alone)
* Look up one product by D\&H or manufacturer part number: the D\&H item number, description, estimated retail price, rebate, volume price and stock
* Read orders by PO, D\&H order or invoice number, with their status, lines, invoice total, shipments, tracking and serial numbers
* Place an order on your D\&H account, shipped to your address or, for a drop-ship account, to your client

This is D\&H's XML integration. Cloud subscriptions and seats bought through the D\&H Cloud Marketplace use the [D\&H](https://docs.neoagent.io/integrations/marketplaces/d-and-h.md) integration. D\&H's XML integration has no keyword or spec search: Neo finds models with Web Search and looks each one up at D\&H by its manufacturer part number.

## Safety Controls

| **Operations outside D\&H's manual refused** | Neo reads the operation from each document and refuses one D\&H's XML manual does not list, before it is sent |
| **Login added by Neo** | Your XML login and drop-ship password are added to each document by Neo; the agent never sees them |
| **No order sent twice** | Neo never resends an order on its own; a PO number D\&H has seen before is refused by D\&H |
