# Strety API

> Read and update your EOS in Strety: Goals and Milestones, To-Dos, Issues, Metrics, Headlines, Meetings, Projects and Docs, tracked against your PSA

The common use is a scheduled agent that tracks your Strety Goals against the work in your PSA: it completes a Milestone when the tickets tied to it close, checks the Goal in with the open tickets named, and tells the Goal owner in Teams when a Milestone falls behind. A weekly run sums up what needs your next meeting.

## What It Does

* Read people, Teams, the Accountability Chart and each space's V/TO
* Read, create, update, check in, complete, backlog, archive and delete Goals, and their Milestones
* Read, create, update, complete and delete To-Dos and Issues
* Read and create Metrics, and record their check-ins
* Read and create Headlines, Messages and Shoutouts
* Read Meetings with their attendance and ratings, Projects, Docs and performance reviews

## Permission Groups

| Goals & Milestones | Goals with their owner, space, status, dates and targets, their check-ins and Milestones; create, update, check in, complete, backlog, archive and delete |
| To-Dos | To-Dos with their owner, priority and due date; create, update, complete and delete |
| Issues | Issues with their owner, type and whether solved; create, update, solve, archive and delete |
| Metrics | Metrics with their owner, cadence and targets, and their check-ins; create, update, check in and delete |
| Headlines | Headlines with their owner and description; create, update, archive and delete |
| Shoutouts | Shoutouts for your Core Values; create, update and delete |
| Messages | Messages posted to a space; create, update and delete |
| Meetings | Meetings with their type, date, attendance and ratings. Read only |
| Projects | Projects with their dates, privacy and members; create one |
| Docs | Docs and their folders; create, update and delete |
| Performance Reviews | Reviews with who, status and, once completed, the answers. Read only |

## Access Profiles

## Safety Controls

| Control | Behavior |

| **A Shoutout in another person's name asks** | A Shoutout that names someone else as its giver always asks a technician first, whatever the group's setting |
| **Only documented calls** | Neo sends only the calls in Strety's published API, and refuses any other write |
| **The authorizing user's own role** | Neo acts as the Strety user who authorized the app, so Strety refuses what that user's role may not do |
| **No file links** | The download link of an uploaded Doc file is removed from what the agent reads |
